Attended the DEN 2012 Fall VirtConference (10/20/12). Porter Palmer presented & this is what is in her Tackle Box (curation tools).
Some I have tried, some I am investigating, some I am trying to decide how to improve my usage.
Assists brands & bloggers to curate. Title can be changed, description, tag, can move links to list.ly
Create lists by signing into Facebook, Google+, or Twitter accounts.
web highlighter, online bookmarking. Sticky notes can be ON/OFF. Choice of tool bar or bookmarklet.
**Have to create account, but free. Have done this but not utilized the tool for curation. I use the bookmarklet.
Add specific webinar to bookmark or watch.
++Cross posting allowed to FB, Twitter, Delicious, etc.

A favorite of Porter's until Pinterest.
**Still need to look into this & see if it will work for me, but may concentrate on other areas.
Treied this after inheriting Mom's recipe. Trying to make recipe book that can be shared with family member.
LiveBindercomes highly recommended & suggested over Evernote. I do like Evernote because it syncs between the platforms I use (iPhone, iPad, PC).
Wish Windows Store had full evernote app, but will work it out

Use in conjunctin with Moleskine notebooks which gives 3 months Premium membership as do the sticky notes,.
Great for business cards, I use with Clearly, Web Clipper, and Food.

Diigo is a powerful research tool and a knowledge-sharing community.
**MY TAKE: Free, but need to create account; Sticky Notes can be turned ON/OFF; I have some security concerns; use bookmarklet; but have not fully explored or utilized.
