Kids will love spending a fun afternoon in the company of Ragunan Zoo's 3,000 odd residents. The place is well-maintained and clean, spread across 350 acres. You will have to take a trip into Bogor for this attraction, but, the slightly long car ride is well worth it. The 170 hectares of parkland is home to over 2,500 species of animals. The attraction lies in driving through the park in your car, having the animals come right up to your window; a fascinating activity for little children. Hence, make sure to take along plenty of apples and carrots for feeding the hungry little critters. Hang around and watch one of the six wildlife shows on offer; these comprise of elephant shows, dolphin shows and even a Wild West show.

Take on Some Watery Fun at Waterbom Park

The perfect way to cool down on a warm day, Waterbom Park offers 15 slides and a chill-out pool to enjoy. There is a slide, made especially for thrill seekers, sending one hurtling down at speeds of around 70kms per hour. Once done with your time in the water, wind up the day with a visit to the billiard parlour located next door.
