Better known as the Trickeye Museum or 3D Museum, by the locals, this place is loads of fun for the entire family. Mind you, take along the cameras and head on over to the museum looking forward to about 4 hours of mind-blowing fun. Guests at Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok will find this interactive park, on the 4th floor of the Esplanade Shopping Mall, about 25 minutes away. Even if you are not based close by, do make time to visit. Open from 10 am to 10 pm, this unique museum gives you a chance to act silly against a range of quirky backgrounds, such as escaping a shark, manoeuvring along a ramshackle suspension bridge, falling through a gorge and much more.

Children love Dream World Bangkok, where they can live out their fantasies for a day. Look forward to making your little ones very happy as they make snow angels in Snow Land, say hello to Pocahontas and gaze in awe at Cinderella. Perfect to head over from your Bangkok city hotel, this theme park is open from 10 am to 5 pm, and even later on holidays.

Dedicated to the fearsome predators, this park holds a magnificent collection of T-rex, velociraptors and other creatures from the pre-historic age. Housing over 200 life-size, replicas of dinosaurs, the park is in the Sukhumvit area and easy to reach from a well-located Bangkok hotel.

Located on the rooftop of the Mall Bangkae, Fantasia Lagoon is a large water park, located within close proximity to the Bangkok city centre. The park, however, is not well-known and is more often frequented by locals who have discovered its allures. Look forward to loads of splashing fun, winding along slippery slides and lagoons of all sizes; Fantasia Lagoon promises a day of good cheer.

Funarium Indoor Playground

If you have a couple of fussy little tykes, take them over to the Funarium Indoor Playground and watch them cheer up instantly. Placed inside what looks like an old warehouse, the place surprises you on entrance; get past the childproof gates and you are greeted by a huge play area, which is 2000 m2 of fun. There is a sand and water area, a soft play section for very little kids, climbing structures, a baking station and even an arts and crafts kiosk to get those creative ideas flowing. The entire area is air-conditioned, hence parents can look forward to relaxing in comfort while kids play; end your day with a visit to the in-house restaurant.
