The most special feature at the station is the 'Royal Waiting Room' used whenever royalty decides to pay a visit to the town via the railroad. Definitely one of the most popular things to do in Hua Hin, a visit to the station offers one plenty of opportunity to snap up some excellent photos, against the picturesque background.

Enjoy Some Wine Tasting in the Hills

Head on over to Hua Hin Hills Vineyard and savour a glass of local wine. Located 40kms from the town centre, the vineyard is conveniently located on the way to the beautiful Pala U waterfall. You can opt to take the shuttle service starting from near the Market Village, daily at 10.30 am and 3 pm; return trips start from 2 pm and 6.00 pm. Do make a prior reservation by calling up on 032-526351 or 081-9043888 as each bus can only accommodate up to 10 passengers. The best season to visit the picturesque valley is from November to February when the weather is cool and inviting.

Take a Walk in the Plearn Wan Eco Village

Thailand's first eco village, Plearn Wan is located in Hua Hin. Built as a means of recapturing the classic vintage charms of the town, the village was set-up in 2009. The name Plearn translates to 'enjoy' while Wan means 'yesteryear'. Made up of an open lawn framed by a double-storey wooden building, the place is home to a jewellery outlet, beauty salon, massage parlour, clothing boutiques, food stalls and restaurants.

Check Out the Hua Hin Night Market

Located right smack in the middle of town, the Hua Hin Night Market takes place from Petchkasem Road all the way up to the railway line. The bazaar opens at 6 pm and is one of the best places to indulge in seafood varieties. Paying homage to the seaside town, the market is loved for its selection of crustaceans; you have the option of choosing the live fish and having it grilled or cooked fresh, right at the stall. Once done satisfying the foodie in you, treat your inner shopaholic to souvenirs, clothing and local handicrafts.
