In the 1983 classic, WarGames, Matthew Broderick's character almost starts World War III through his computer hacking. How do they set the character up as a genius? By excelling in Galaga of course. All bored student hacker geniuses are always portrayed as excellent gamers - and why not? Gaming enthusiasts are the smartest people in the room in our book.
While Wreck-It Ralph isn't a real game - at least it wasn't when the film came out a few years ago - it was clearly based on classics like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong Jr. The movie shows a traditional version of the game being played and then take viewers into the "lives" of these characters.
