We are so appreciative of donations of items for families in shelter! Please understand that we have space limitations and can only accept what is currently being heavily used and which we can store, even briefly. THANK-YOU!

Thank you for helping shelter pets in need! We depend donations of the supplies below to help keep our animals comfortable and healthy while they’re with us. These are our most frequently used items, but our biggest need is almost always canned wet cat food. Donations can be brought to either of our Brunswick facilities or our Edgecomb location during open hours.

Curtis Friends is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the library’s role as a valued community resource through advocacy, fundraising, and volunteerism. The Friends raise funds for special programs and resources at the library, and to support literacy in our community through our all-volunteer bookstore, Twice-Told Tales.

Acceptable Donations list for Goodwill in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Goodwill accepts donations of computers, printers and related equipment in any condition. ReConnect, a partnership between Goodwill and Dell, offers local residents the opportunity to donate old computers free of charge. All computers and parts are either sold in our stores or responsibly recycled by Dell’s Asset Recovery Services.

Wishlist items for various locations of Catholic Charities Maine, which serves tens of thousands of Mainers every year, offering basic necessities and help in moving toward independence and stability.

The Gathering Place was founded in 2010 and is the only daytime shelter for the deeply poor and homeless in the Greater Brunswick area, and one of only a few statewide.
