Fun Things to Do in Cyberjaya – Explore Cyberjaya in Malaysia

Holidaying in Cyberjaya? Here are some of the best things you can do while you're vacationing in the city which has been dubbed the Silicon Valley of Malaysia.

1

Take Aim and Fire!

Travelling in a group? Stir up your competitive spirits and engage in a game of paintball. Cyberjaya's Paintball Park is also located in Kelab Komuniti Taman Tasik. Once you get there, you can pick from four different packages. They start from RM50 per head and end at RM160 per head for the most expensive one. The RM160 package includes 1,000 pellets. If you have a larger party and want a customized package, it's best to call the Paintball Park ahead of time to work something out.

2

Relax or Workout by the Lake

Spend a peaceful time out by Cyberjaya Lake. This is a popular spot for picnics, especially because of the scenic gardens which are well-maintained. It is also an ideal place to get in a good outdoor workout. Keep the pesky holiday pounds off by jogging or cycling by the lake. Don't worry, you won't be alone. The lake is a popular workout spot for both locals and tourists who come by here daily in order to meet their fitness goals.

Satisfy Your Need for Speed

If you want to enjoy an inexpensive round of go-karting, head to Raycer Powerhouse in Kelab Komuniti Taman Tasik. The go-karting track is situated a 7-minute drive away from serviced apartments in Cyberjaya such as the Citadines DPulze Cyberjaya. While the tracks here are quite basic, they are good enough for some casual go-karting. Sessions last 40 minutes or so and cost around RM55. During this time you can go for as many rounds as you want. Spend an hour or two here for some heart-racing fun! If you have a group of 6 or more, ask the staff to see if you are eligible for a discounted rate.

4

Shop Your Heart Out

Go on a shopping spree at DPulze Shopping Centre. If you've been hit by the shopping bug while you're holidaying in Cyberjaya, this is your best option. It features an array of apparel and cosmetics stores as well as a bowling alley and cinema for entertainment. It's also convenient to shop here, as you can get most of what you need in one place; DPulze has a money exchange centre and a pharmacy. When you're done shopping, you can easily call Grab and Uber drivers to pick you up near the mall.

5

Pay a Visit to Selangor's Green Mosque

Visit the Masjid Fisabilillah Cyberjaya which is the town's main mosque. It also goes by the name of the Green Mosque of Selangor. Eco-tourists will be glad to learn that this mosque has been named thusly because it has many energy saving mechanisms in place. For example, the roofs are equipped with solar panels, all the lights are LED-based, the and there is also a system in place to collect and use rainwater.
