Healthcare is one of the industries which require constant advancements. AI is designed to provide these necessary improvements to the industry itself, which we as individuals can highly benefit from as well. For instance, imagine going to the doctor’s for a checkup, and then having to wait for days or even longer to get your results – this would undeniably cause some worry and concern.
With the help of AI in healthcare, however, computing powered by graphics processing technology and deep learning can greatly reduce the waiting process, as the doctors will no longer be required to manually review endless amounts of data.
Apart from getting an opportunity to diagnose their patients much faster and in a significantly more accurate way, doctors will have an ability to develop new drugs and innovative treatments, and reduce the probability of making any medical errors. What is more, this type of automation will also cut down the costs of healthcare services for patients.
When it comes to any type of business, every business owner will agree that one of their primary objectives is to provide their customers with the best experience possible. With the development in chatbots, this is no longer a complex task.

In 2012, Google started testing a car with self-driving capabilities, which gave us an insight into how AI technology can advance our transportation. With the use of AI, some of the greatest challenges in transportation industry such as reliability, pollution, capacity problems, and safety can all be solved.
For instance, countries such as China, Finland and Singapore have already implemented automation to some of their buses which has shown to be quite successful – they are environmentally friendly and allow people to get from point A to point B much faster.
The same AI principles are expected to be implemented to trucks in the near future, with the goal to reduce the delivery time of cargo, decrease emissions, and lower the costs, according to the International Transport Forum’s recent report.
The aforementioned applications are just a tiny fraction of the opportunities to apply AI to our daily lives. In reality, these possibilities are practically limitless and are expected to increase even more in the future, enabling us to radically improve all segments of both our professional and personal lives.
Even though artificial intelligence technology is still in its development stage, practically everyone nowadays is familiar with the term itself. However, some people see it as a threat, thinking that robots and AI-powered machines will completely replace us and that there won’t be enough job positions left for people.
This is a rather dystopian assumption whatsoever, and it is far from the truth. In fact, the primary goal of AI is to facilitate our jobs and everyday tasks, and to provide the necessary automation which will bring incredible success to businesses and make our daily lives much more convenient.
