My Top Ten Teacher Friendly Apps in Education

Here are some of my favorite apps that I will use in my classroom with my students.

StoryBird is a great app for digital storytelling. You can browse through thousands of stories, poems, or you can simply create your own story, or poem to share with the world.

This augmented reality app brings classroom lessons to life. It is now called HP revealed you can create you own augmented reality to share with friends. Bring photos, cards, etc... to life in the education realm. Use with Ipads or android.

Nearpod allows teachers to create digital lesson plans to share with their students during class. students can follow along on their own device. This can track each student's individual progress they can follow along at their own pace.

It has voice record so that you can add audio to your power point presentation slides.This app is sure to please any student because they get to be creative in their own way. This app also allows teachers a different way to grade instead the traditional way of reading the student's work they can listen to it.

This App is designed to give students fast and effective feedback on their writing assignments. Connected to google docs it's different from the traditional grading system. Students can hear the comments that the teacher makes rather than trying to figure out a tone from a comment written on paper. It provides instant results so that the students can correct mistakes that they have made.
