Top 4 Beautiful Beaches in Seychelles - Pristine paradise locations!

Seychelles boasts an absolutely breathtaking haven for all beach enthusiasts, let's have a look at some of the best beaches in all of Seychelles.

1

Anse Lazio (Praslin Island)

Located in the north-west of Praslin Island, Anse Lazio truly is a special beach. While being a tourist hotspot, the beach generally never feels overcrowded. If it's solitude you seek, most advice to arrive quite early in the morning where you might be one of the lucky few to have the beach to yourself. Swimming at Anse Lazio is considered to be very safe but there are off days where the waves can end up being extremely rough. Relaxing on the sand is very comfortable here as an area as big as 500m on the beach is entirely covered in shade from all the huge Takamaka trees around. Anse Lazio can be easily accessed via a short drive with signposts all around to helpfully guide the way. You'll also find a car park with plentiful parking should you need it. While travelling here in public transport such as the bus is possible, it only takes you so far, leaving a steep hill to walk back up when you leave.

2

Anse Georgette (Praslin Island)

Anse Georgette can be found hidden away in the grounds of the Praslin Island. While it is on the grounds of a local hotel, you can access the beach by giving prior notice. You can also embark on a hike from Mount Plaisir down to the beach. Since the beach is not particularly guided via signposts, seek help from the locals as you make your way through. The unique and utterly breathtaking fact about Anse Georgette is that the beach has absolutely no coral or rocks in the bay. This makes it a pure sand beach resulting in a stunning view of the water.

3

Anse Major (Mahé Island)

To reach the beautiful beach that is Anse Major on the Mahe Island, you can take a hike right through the Morne Seychellois National Park. The only other available access to this beach is by boat. The beach is well known to be secluded and makes for an amazing location to bring a significant other with you. Since there are no refreshments around the area, it is best to pack a picnic with you for the trip here. You'll only come across a couple of abandoned buildings. The hike to the beach would take about an hour but the beach makes up for it in its atmosphere. The spot is also fantastic for snorkelling as well. When searching for hotels in Mahe Seychelles you'll find many on offer such as the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino for example.

4

Anse Severe (La Digue Island)

Anse Severe is a wonderfully quiet little beach on the La Digue Island. It doesn't take too long to reach the beach from the main town of La Passe via bicycle, however, prepare to cycle through a steep hill. Most of the crowd in the area frequent the west side of the island, leaving Anse Severe as an excellent little spot to head over in the evening to watch the gorgeous sunset.
