Description: Google Drawings is a digital tool that allows users to create anything they choose on a digital canvas.
Rational: I chose this website because for part of my lesson I want students to make their own propaganda poster and I think Google Drawings is the best way to create this.
Description: This is a quiz game about European countries not occupied by the axis powers during WWII.
Rational: I chose this game because I thought it would be a fun and new twist on information students will learn during this lesson. Most of the information is focused on countries that are occupied by the axis powers, so I thought the opposite would be fun for students.
Description: Sutori is a digital tool that allows users to create their own interactive timelines.
Rational: I chose Sutori because I would like my students to make a interactive timeline of WWII events during this lesson.
Description: This is a sample lesson plan created by PBS.
Rational: I picked this resource because I liked some of the resources within the lesson plan and liked the way the lesson plan was set up.
Description: This is an article with tons of information about WWII.
Rational: I chose this resource because I thought the background information about WWII would be beneficial to students.
Description: This is a video that overviews WWII.
Rational: I chose this video because I liked how the director used cartoons, humor, and was easy to understand.
Description: This video specifically discusses how the United States gets involved in WWII.
Rational: I chose this video because I liked how it was specifically focused on the United States' involvement in WWII.
Description: This is a propaganda poster used by the United States during WWII.
Rational: I chose this image because I would like students to create their own propaganda poster for WWII and this is a good example.
Description: This is an infographic depicting the deaths as a result of WWII, both military and civilian.
Rational: I chose this infographic because I thought seeing how many deaths other countries had compared to the United States, as well as how many deaths occurred in general would be eye opening.
Description: This is a website that contains information about the United States' involvement in WWII.
Rational: I chose this website because I thought it contained valuable information for students about the United States' involvement in WWII.
