The iconic Shaanxi History Museum has an astounding collection of over 370,000 ancient artefacts. Murals, pottery, coins and objects made from precious metals can be admired here. The museum which was opened to the public in the year 1991 is spread across an area of 65,000 square metres. The architecture of the museum is quite beautifully dignified too. Fossils of the Lantian Man, The Four Footed Li, The Deer Pattern Eaves Tile, frescoes and pottery tomb figures from the tomb of Princess Li Xianhui and The Kneeling Archer which was discovered from the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang are among the most prominent displays here.
