The picturesque St. Clair's Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the island, that is often called 'Little Niagara of Sri Lanka". The surreal beauty of this waterfall makes it one of the most popular stopovers when travelling to Kandy passing Talawakelle. It's located about 75 kilometres away from the city of Kandy and can be reached in approximately two hours and 30 minutes via the Talawakelle road.
St. Clair's Falls has a height of 80 metres making it the 20th highest waterfall in the country. Undoubtedly its most unique feature is its width which is 50 metres. St. Clair's Falls is located alongside the Kotmale River, and consists of two falls, namely 'Maha Ella" and "Kuda Ella".
