Things to Do with Kids in Hong Kong before they Grow Up - Making Memories with the Little Ones

There is such a little time to make cherishable memories with your little ones before they grow up to be teenagers. if you are ever in Hong Kong here are some fun things you can do with your kids.

1

Hong Kong Disneyland

Although it is probably the smallest Disney park you would ever come across, visiting the Hong Kong Disneyland is something you should not forget to do with your children. If you are a big fan of enjoying Disney characters in diverse cultures, it is a great idea to join in with your children, have some fun and let loose your inner child as well. The latest additions to the park include the likes of Toy Storyland, Dumbo and even roller coasters like Space Mountain - which might have the longest of the queues. However, you can buy the tickets in advance and print them out. This will help you avoid all these queues and irritating your kids.

2

Ocean Park

Located less than fifteen minutes away in a taxi from popular accommodation options the likes of Dorsett Wanchai Hong Kong, the Ocean Park is a sea-themed park that attracts locals and tourists alike. You can now access the Ocean Park by metro as well. It is a great idea to visit the Ocean Park instead of the Hong Kong Disneyland since the Ocean Park features animals and it is less crowded as well. The two levels of the park are connected by a sky tram which gives the riders a stunning view of the Hong Kong Island. The park also features an area dedicated to pandas right by the entrance, a large aquarium as well as an entertaining play area for the little kids. The older kids can enjoy rides in the Summit and you can even view the sea lions and other types of shows in the show area.

Take a visit to The Peak

Make sure to visit The Peak with the little ones on a clear day for this site as it offers a jaw-dropping view of the island of Hong Kong. Take some time to enjoy the view from the observation deck of The Peak Tower. However, The Peak Tower is not just about soaking up with a spectacular view of Hong Kong, it also features many restaurants and souvenir shops as well. Once you are done with all the snap taking you can visit one of the restaurants with the kids and enjoy an authentic meal. If you are based in a Wan Chai Hotel the Peak Tower is located around 30 to 40 minutes away and you can get the hotel to arrange you a quick ride.
