Chinese New Year pops up just as festivities for the Gregorian New Year are dying out. Bali home to a large Chinese population gets into the act with much enthusiasm, here are the best venues.

The Silk Road at Metis Lounge

If you are a party animal then do head over to Metis Lounge for some reverting celebrations. Easy to reach from Seminyak hotels, the special 'Silk Road' event is well choreographed to offer patrons a sophisticated experience, as they ring in the Chinese New Year, in true style. A top line up of DJ's were on offer for the 2017 celebrations, hence, one can expect the same or better performances for future shows. The icing on the cake, however, would be the very impressive menu, which participants are treated to. Expect nothing but the best gastronomic delights.

MoonLite Kitchen and Bar

Tourists enjoying a stay at a Seminyak Bali resort, are in luck; the MoonLite Kitchen and Bar is the perfect venue for welcoming in the Chinese New Year, in true celebratory fashion. Part of Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort, this dining venue has a "family reunion dinner" which features three-course and six-course set menu meals offering delectable Asian delicacies. The celebrations on New Year's Eve start at 5.30pm with the traditional dragon and lion dance. Dinner is a special menu, which is served from 6 pm onwards. The elegant Mulia's Chinese restaurant offers lucky Table 8, dining at the best Cantonese and Szechuan buffets.
