Enjoy an Ice Cream at Pedlar's Inn Gelato

If you try it once, this could easily end up being a regular occurrence. You'll find this store on Pedlar Street which is one of the main shopping streets in the area. As evident by their name, Italian style ice cream is their forte. A highlight to try here would be "Frutti di Bosco" which translates to "Fruits of the Forest". It is the ideal combination of both refreshing and indulging.

2

Just take a Stroll

One thing, almost everyone including both the locals and tourists do in Galle is to simply go for a stroll. The town features a New York-style grid with roads all at right angles to each other. Each building you'll find here is either a restaurant, a hotel or a shop and thus makes for the perfect location to explore by foot.

3

Do Some Window Shopping

If you're looking to do some shopping or even window shopping, Galle has a plethora of shops to choose from. You'll find many items here both luxury and otherwise. Some excellent shops to try out here would be Spa Ceylon, Luv SL Odel as well as Barefoot.
