One of the oldest gardens in Sri Lanka, visiting this enchanting place is a must do for all those exploring Kandy. The Garden was established by Alexander Moon in the year 1821 and is beautifully landscaped and flaunts a rich variety of the islands finest flora.
While you are exploring the beauty of Kandy, don't forget to try out some local street food along the way. The Kottu Rotti is very popular in Kandy as it is in most other places on the island. Stop by a local street shop and try this combination of shredded rotti, veggies, and meat if you desire.
