Explore Settlement Cove

Brisbane' South Bank is an incredible location, Redcliffe's Settlement Cove is a truly great alternative. The cove is a manmade lagoon bordering Moreton Bay Figs on one side, and the bay that gives them their name on the other side. The lagoon at Settlement Cove is made out of pebblecrete and this does not get dragged up like sand, which is a definite one up on South Bank. The location makes up for an excellent place to have some fun with the entire family. The surrounding area of the pool contains picnic tables, pergolas as well as BBQ facilities for a truly great time. There's plenty of Redcliffe accommodation around like the Oaks Mon Komo for example, so there's nothing to worry about finding a place to check into while you go through this list of places.

4

Break your Fast like a Champion

Flock is an astoundingly popular little café that is famous for providing the best breakfast in all of Redcliffe. A key highlight here are the amazing breathtaking views across the Moreton Bay. A dish that you mustn't miss here would be the broccoli and chickpea fritters that are served alongside harissa yoghurt, tomato salsa, avocado and sliced beets. Tim Adams coffee makes for an excellent accompaniment to the breakfast. However, note that you must get in early as this famous spot gets very crowded.

Discover Bee Gees Way!

The walkway that connects Sutton Street with Redcliffe Parade is actual living proof of the legacy that the Bee Gees left behind. This laneway has been thoroughly transformed into an outdoor museum dedicated to the band, featuring all their history, having originated from here in 1959. You'll learn many fun facts, the timeline of their stardom and their personality traits as you stroll through the lane. At night you'll be able to see a light show that thoroughly resembles a concert, transporting you elsewhere.
