Top Shopping malls in Singapore - The crème de la crème of Singapore's shopping scene

Singapore is famous for two things: food and shopping. While the former can be a vast topic to discuss, this list is to help you with the latter. Where to shop when in Singapore.

1

Paragon

Paragon is not the place if you are looking for bargain deals and unbelievable prices. However, if you are on the lookout for branded clothes, gourmet food, and authentic Prada, Miu Miu, Gucci, or Ermenegildo Zegna products, Paragon Shopping Centre is the place to go. There are also spas and beauty parlours tucked neatly into the building that spreads over a large area of land. You can easily spend an entire weekend here, simply browsing through all the options there is to check out.

2

ION Orchard

Located at the most famous shopping boulevard in Singapore, Orchard Road, ION Orchard comes right after Paragon in terms of goods and quality. The building itself is mesmerizing, the architecture being rather futuristic. It is at its best in the night, when lit up by the millions of lights that adorn the structure. You will be able to find Sephora, Louis Vuitton, and Salvatore Ferragamo shops here, not to mention an amazing food court located in the basement.

3

The Shoppes

One place that all visitors to Singapore are dying to visit is Marina Bay Sands. In fact, many Flight Ticket Booking services like the rather popular Macktrip.com have city tour packages that take the visitors to Marina Bay Sands. The Shoppes is a part of Marina Bay Sands resort and is a great opportunity to visit this world famous structure. The larger structure has an indoor skating ring, a casino, a canal that stretches through the length of the mall where functioning gondolas float, and rooftop access to see the fascinating skyline of Singapore. As a shopping experience, though, this is one of a kind, Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Hermes, Cartier, and Louis Vuitton being the sort of shops you find here.

4

Vivo City

The largest shopping mall in Singapore, Vivo City is located near the Sentosa Island and Keppel Harbour. In order to get to Vivo City, though, you will have to either take a cable car Mount Faber or alight the Sentosa Express from the Sentosa Island. The shopping mall is nothing spectacular in terms of architecture but has a wide collection of shops including Forever 21, American Eagle, Gap, Uniqlo, H&M, and MUJI. It is a good idea to at least pay it a cursory visit on your way back from Sentosa Island, as any tourist is likely to do.

5

Orchard Central

Orchard Central is the tallest vertical mal in Singapore. It is located in the middle of Orchard Road and is the heart of the shopping district. It is in between ION Orchard and Paragon and has millions of dollars worth of artwork adorning its inner walls. Despite this grand interior decoration, not everything at Orchard Central is exorbitantly priced. There are welcoming and appealing bargains to be found here, too. Orchard Central is also the only mall down Orchard Road that has free valet services.
