The Bali Safari and Marine Park has a range of activities to suit the whole family from nature walks to water sports, and even animal safaris.
The Bali Safari & Marine Park covers a staggering 40 hectares of land, and is home to around 80 species of animals that wander freely in large natural enclosures that imitate their habitats. Some of the animals include deer, Himalayan bears, zebras, African hippos, baboons, camels, ostriches, and lions. The most popular display among guests belongs to the Indian white tigers. Guests can enjoy safari rides through the enclosures, get close to baby orangutans, watch an elephant talent show, or view baby sharks swimming at the aquarium.
After strolling around the enclosures under Bali's tropical sun, head over to the clear blue waters at the Waterpark which will refresh you and your family while providing loads of fun entertainment. The waterpark features two pool options for adults and kids and several water slides. The views of the coast line from the top of the slides make them even more enjoyable, and hard to stay away from. If you need to rest in between slides, the park features a pool cafe, so you can still enjoy the cool comfort of the water, while snacking on your favourite foods. The Fun Zone is a separate area for young children to enjoy games and other activities in a safe environment.
Aside from the zoo enclosures and waterpark, there are also plenty of recreational activities around the park, including the Bali Agung show; a theatrical performance which combines traditional Balinese legend, colourful costumes and energetic dance numbers, that are all staged in a massive modern theatre within the park. In addition to the theatre, there are also several restaurants and small eateries located around the premises to cater to adults and young children alike, so you can enjoy a meal before heading back to whichever one of the luxury Bali hotels you happening to be staying at, such Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, for example.
Experience a whole new side of the park on a night safari! Ride inside a special caged tram which takes guests inside enclosures for an up close and personal view of many nocturnal animals and beast such as tigers and bears. The night safari also includes a guided walk around the park where you'll see giant komodo dragons lazily moving across the grounds, hundreds of bat flying in the shadows, and much more. The night safari ends with a spectacular fire show which includes puppets, drumming, a fire dancing alongside a buffet.
