A food festival to celebrate Australia Day, Great Australian Bites is a four day festival that houses an array of cuisines from many restaurants – basically any foodie's dream. The food festival takes place at South Bank Parkland's River Quay which serves as a beautiful backdrop. Picnic baskets and drinks are also available while live entertainment is always on to keep up the atmosphere. The excellent location is also great for watching the electrifying Australia Day fireworks. All in all, there is no better way to start off the long weekend than dropping by here.
