This Master Services Agreement is estimated to be worth in excess of $100 million and partners SNC-Lavalin with one of the world’s largest plastics, chemical, and refining companies.
Canada-based professional services and project management firm, SNC-Lavalin, has landed itself a massive engineering services agreement with a major downstream refining and petro-chemical company in the Gulf Coast and United States.
There are a limited number of companies with the experience SNC-Lavalin has when it comes to engineering, procurement, construction, consulting services on cost and program management, training, operations, and maintenance. For this particular agreement, SNC-Lavalin will use its downstream abilities to increase performance, improve processing, and ensure all of the client’s needs are met and their long-term goals are achieved at their Gulf Coast facilities.
"We are excited to work with our client in their downstream projects across multiple facilities on the Gulf Coast," said Joseph Lichon, Executive Vice-President, Americas, Oil & Gas, SNC-Lavalin. "Our innovation and market-tailored technical solutions in every stage of our client's projects enable us to provide considerable cost and production efficiencies on such projects. We are seeing a return to strength of the downstream sector, and we are working closely with a number of clients on future opportunities in this important area for refined product and chemicals production."
