IT Field Engineer Plan of action

It has its field of action in all types of corporations, entities and public and private companies, whether institutional, manufacturing goods or providing services, which by their nature and activity incorporate with some intensity aspects of Access and Management Systems. Telecommunications, propagation and antennas, fixed and mobile telephony systems, data transmission, radio communications including satellite communications, networks and telematic services, convergence of services in new generation networks, broadcasting and television, telecommunications regulation and in general all fields that they have to do with Telecommunications.

An IT Field Engineer usually performs the following activities:

Select, analyze, simulate, evaluate, calculate, construct and design means of transmission of electromagnetic signals.

Analyze, design, implement, build, prepare, evaluate and manage networks and telematic systems, in accordance with current regulations.

Evaluate, acquire, assimilate, build and adapt new technologies related to communications systems and services.

Direct projects and feasibility studies in the design, selection, implementation and operation of telecommunications systems and services.
Determine materials, costs, estimated time and specifications for telecommunications systems and services.

Develop consultancy, advisory and auditing activities in projects related to performance areas.
Conduct consultancy and issue opinions on issues related to performance areas - Develop applications supported in telecommunications technologies.

Interpret standards and regulatory standards for telecommunications services and systems and participate in their definition.

Establish safety and performance standards for telecommunications systems and develop procedures for their operation and maintenance.

Determine the origin of failures in telecommunications systems and correct deficiencies.
Teaching and research at basic, undergraduate and postgraduate levels in universities and technical and technological institutes.

Project management, understood as the formulation, evaluation, execution, auditing, or project management.
