5 Best Water Parks in Dubai - Fun for Everyone!

If you are unaccustomed to Dubai weather, it can get a bit hot. If you are yearning for the seaside, the best way to beat the heat is to visit one of Dubai's many water parks and cool off!

Wild Wadi

If you are looking for things to do in Deira Dubai with the family, Wild Wadi is perfect for a family outing as it offers many children friendly rides. The Breakers Bay, Wild Wadi's wave pool, is known as the largest wave pool in the Middle East and is capable of producing 1.5 metre waves. The water park is located within roughly half an hour's drive of hotels such as the AVANI Deira Dubai Hotel so it is easily accessible. Adults looking for thrills will not be disappointed. Wild Wadi is home to the tallest and fastest free fall side outside of the US, Jumeirah Sceirah. The question is whether you are brave enough to try it.

Aquaventure

Aquaventure offers close to 42 acres of thrills! Visitors can venture on to the Aquaconda, the world's longest waterslide, or get an adrenaline rush by zipping through the air on the Atlantean Flyer zip line, the longest zip line in the Middle East. If you want a less adrenaline filled experience, you can opt for Neptune's Retreat, the relaxing giant lazy river. For something out of the ordinary, you could also head over to the Lost Chambers Aquarium and experience something a little different from the classic water park experience. If you are feeling a bit hungry, stroll over to some of the many cabanas serving delicious food.

Ice Land Water Park Dubai

Perhaps you are tired with water parks and want something cooler? You cannot get any cooler than ice! Ice Land Water Park spans a whopping 103,000 square metres and has an adorable penguin home theme. It is home to one of the world's largest artificial waterfall and even has an aqua soccer playground. The water park also has a private beach so you still have the chance to splash around. Ice Land Water Park is about an hour's drive from Dubai but because of this, it is one of the few waterparks which rarely becomes overcrowded.

LEGOLAND Water Park

LEGOLAND Water Park is a part of the LEGOLAND theme park so you can plan an entire day out. The water park incorporates elements from the LEGO Movie and LEGO toys so it is always a hit with kids! The park also gives kids the chance to let their creative side free by building their own raft out of LEGO blocks.

AquaFun Dubai Water Park

Located approximately 20 metres out in the sea from the Jumeria Beach Resort is a massive inflatable water park. AquaFun Dubai Water Park offers fun for both children and adults alike as there over 74 obstacles on the inflatable water park. Visitors can slide, run and jump to their hearts' content. It even has great offers such free challenge where you do not have to pay if you can complete the course without falling off. Then again, half of the fun is falling off!
