If you have ever wondered what it would be like to cuddle a koala, make it a point to visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. In fact, this attraction is considered to be the world's biggest sanctuary for the well-known marsupials of Australia. At Lone Pine in addition to koalas, you will have the opportunity to observe an array of native Australian creatures like wallabies, kangaroos, dingoes, wombats, crocodiles and snakes. Interesting displays that you can experience here include flights of birds of prey, sheepdog demonstrations, feeding of Tasmanian devils and platypuses, shearing displays and encounters with barn animals. You will also have the opportunity to take a photo whilst holding a koala, baby crocodile or snake.
