We get many questions regarding our tours and workshops, so this is a list of the FAQ's we have compiled to this day. Let us know if you think we have missed anything.

Slikamilina Painting & Photography Tours can offer advise on the best way to get there, but cannot book flights. Airfares are best purchased through your own travel agent.
Slikamilina Painting & Photography Tours strongly recommends that workshop members have travel insurance and that you purchase travel insurance through your travel agent.
Only one transfer is scheduled to transfer workshop members to the Island of Korcula. We recommend that you arrive a day early or you will have to make your own way to the Island of Korcula which is not always an easy endeavour. .
We do not stay in Hotels, as Westerns understand them. We stay in Pansions, which would be equivalent to our B&B’s. The name and contact details of the Pansions can be provided upon request.
We have had vegetarians in the past but these vegitarians still ate fish and cheese. Croatia is a meat eating culture and they have a hard time understanding vegetarianism! We do our best to accommodate everyone and have not had complaints yet… Silvana is brilliant in the kitchen!
Our guests are anywhere between 35 and 82 years old, the average age being 45-65. The minimum age required is 18 years old. The age is really not important, your attitude is, so you should not worry about age. Just have an open mind and a sense of humour.
Yes, we always get several solo travelers on our tours. Besides, the group eats together for breakfast, most lunches and for all dinners. Our guide is also always with the group so you will never be alone if you don’t want to be.
Yes. All art and photography supplies must be brought with the tour member for 9 days of painting and photography. Do not assume that supplies will be available in any of the towns that you will be visiting.
Please remember you are painting en plein air. Most of our locations are in towns and villages, and so you have access to toilets at the local cafes. You may have to buy a coffee or drink to use the toilets. Cafes will not be far from our plein air site, with maximum of a 5 minute walk.
There is so much for non-painters to do on our tours and many of the workshops include other non-painters. Non-painters can go sightseeing and visit local towns and museums. The Tour Manager can suggest additional activities.
