Best Anatomy and Physiology Lectures

Best FOAM resources and lectures for anatomy and physiology, as seen on FOAMest.com

Anatomy – Emergency Medicine Ireland

Easily the best lectures I've seen for clinically oriented anatomy. Great images and excellent explanations. Andy Neill was an anatomist before becoming an EM physician. Highly recommended!

Anatomy for Emergency Medicine 003: The Ankle – Emergency Medicine Ireland

Below are some lovely animation videos showing the sequence of each injury, they use a complicated classification system involving supination and pronation that I don’t think we need to know about but they’re nice all the same.

Anatomy for Emergency Medicine 006.1: Spinal Cord Injury – Emergency Medicine Ireland

The cool images in the intro sequence are from here via @grahamwalker  who seems to find all the really cool stuff on the web.

Anatomy for Emergency Medicine 026: Basic Anatomy of Chest Trauma – Emergency Medicine Ireland

This is a screencast of a recent lecture I gave to some first year med students. It’s mainly to give the students some clinical info to keep their regular anatomy teaching relevant. It’s not designed to be a comprehensive intro to trauma in any way.
