Most Important Tools I Have Used.

This list contains every technology tool that has helped me through this course that I feel I will use in the future.

1

PowerPoint

PowerPoint

Not only did I learn how use PowerPoint in a more advanced way, but I learned that you can now make movies to it. Or just a regular slide show but add your voice right to it.

2

Niftio

Niftio

Niftio was like PowerPoint, but it was more interesting. There were more options to choose from, and it was very simple to use over the course of making it.

5

Class Dojo

Class Dojo

During this course I learned a lot about other technology tools that can help me in the classroom. Such as Class Dojo which helps teachers stay in touch with parents. As well as keeping track of students progress, behavior, and achievements. I think this would be a great tool for all that want to have that communication with parents.

7

Kahoot

Kahoot

Kahoot is a website where teachers can make quizzes online, and the students use technology devices such as laptops, cellphones, or tablets to answer the questions.

8

Google Translate

Google Translate

Google translate was not particularly used in this course, at all. But I found that it was a good tool when I was in high school. Whenever I got stuck during a Spanish assignment.

3

Prezi

Prezi

Prezi will always be a fan favorite. It can do things that other PowerPoints cant and its always fun and interesting to work with. Over the course I have thought about using it more often because I enjoy it, but I had to try new things.

4

Ted Talks

Ted Talks

Ted talks, have taught me a lot within a 5-10 minute video. Being able to pick something we thought was interesting and had to do a write up about it was fun. You can learn so much, and then some, on just about anything with this technology tool.

6

Edmodo

Edmodo

Edmodo is more of a "social media" based website that helps students post thoughts about questions. They can make comments on other students post and have communication with the teacher.

9

Chegg

Chegg

Chegg is a website where you can order textbooks online, so they are with you no matter where you are. They also have online tutors in case you may need help with anything.

10

FunBrain

FunBrain

Fun Brain is a game-based learning sight where students at different grades can play math, reading, or just for fun games. I used to love playing on fun brain and trying to race my classmates to see who could get the farthest.
