Queensland Theme Park

This is probably the city's most popular theme park, located on the Chennai-Bangalore Highway, the place is about an hour from the city and 5 star hotels in Chennai. Spread across 70 acres this is one of the best parks for families on holiday to have an awesome time. Plenty of rides and thrills promise to keep all members of the family occupied, as they cater to all age categories. There are about 51 rides at the park, of these 33 are adult oriented while 18 rides are aimed at children. Awaiting you there, are the thrills of cable cars, roller coaster, simulation theatres, bumper cars, Himalayan water rides and many more.

The VGP Universal Kingdom

Less than an hour from Turyaa Hotels & Resorts located right in the city centre of Chennai, this theme park aims to please the adrenaline buff, as well as, the fun loving tourist. The place is equipped with over 37 rides and beautiful lawns that skirt the seaside. Take in the live international shows, look out for the 'statue men', indulge at the paneer fort, browse the multi-cuisine eateries and relax within the expansive and well-manicured gardens. This is Chennai's largest water park, which is home to a wave pool, rain dance, tornado, lazy river and family raft.

Dash n Splash Water Park

Located within the scenic village of Mevallur Kuppam, about half an hour from Chennai, this water park is ideal for the entire family to spend a day out at. The place is set up to entertain people of all ages and boasts beautiful environs made up of swaying coconut groves, lots of shaded spaces, water pools, rides and thrills as well as plenty of eateries. Mind you there are only vegetarian meals there, but they do taste quite good and are nothing short of delicious and healthy. Make sure to browse the shops for a unique souvenir before heading home.

Kishkinta Theme Park

This park is spread across 120 acres, in the Tambaram province of Chennai. There are plenty of popular rides there, such as space shuttle, road train, whitewater rides; duck train, helicopters, boat carousels and many more. One of the most comprehensive parks for a wide range of attractions, including 3D cinemas this amusement centre is easy to reach from your Chennai city hotel.

Located on the borders of the city, this huge park boasts over 60 amusing rides.
