The Government of Ontario just passed the_ Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, 2017_ and this will have a major impact on how businesses operate. The Act will:
- Raise the minimum wage;
- Mandate equal pay for equal work;
- Expand personal emergency leave; and
- Increase efforts to enforce employment laws.
