Raising kids is basically second-guessing everything you do, afraid that it might affect your child in a not-so-good way. You’re afraid that you’re unconsciously being a bad example to your own kid even though you aren’t. Don’t worry too much, you’re doing the best you can for your child, and that’s more than enough. Discovering Me Academy salutes all of the parents and those who are parental figures for children all over the world. If your child is going to school for the very first time or is recently going back, here are some encouraging things you can say to give them that extra boost:

Children have different reactions when they go to school for the very first time. Others fit in right away, some take a moment to adjust before getting used to it, while others have a hard time understanding and fitting in their new environment. The latter can usually be solved with the help of the parents and the school as well. If you see that your child still isn’t fully comfortable with going to school even though it’s been weeks, find the root cause of the problem. If, by chance, it happens to involve his classmates, maybe we can help out.

Motor skills refer to the abilities that involve muscular movement, specifically through the arms, hands, legs, or the entire body. Examples of motor skills include jumping, running, crawling, and bending. How do you ensure that your child develops his motor skills effectively?
