Spent a full day here and had a wonderful time talking with the reptiles and monkeys.

We stayed part of the time in Playa Conchal (at Hotel Conchal, technically in Brasilito). Such a cute little beach, lots of beautiful shells and not a person on it.
We also stayed for part of our visit to Costa Rica in a hotel near Dominical. These beaches are mainly for surfers, but I loved the area.
The Tarcoles River is located along Route 34 between Orotina and Jaco. If you go, you have to pull over and see these beauties.
We stopped here on our way to our hotel hear the Arenal Volcano. Lovely setting, good food. Would be a fantastic place to stay.
We saw the most wildlife along the canals of Caño Negro. A bit off the beaten path, but a great experience.
