Panwa Viewpoint

Known to many as the Khao Khad Views Tower, this particular viewpoint has a spectacular 360-degree view: truly a feast for the eyes. As a result of its amazing location which provides a bird's eye view of Southern and Eastern Phuket, even tourists who reside in resorts close to the Sirinat National Park such as Anantara Layan Phuket Resort, which is over an hour away from South Phuket, make the journey to Panwa to enjoy the beauty of the island.

The Viewpoint at the Phuket Big Buddha

The Phuket Big Buddha is easily one of the most recognised and known landmarks on the entire island. At over forty-five metres tall, with a base of nearly twenty-five metres, the Big Buddha can be seen from quite a distance away. The Big Buddha statue was actually built in 2004. A stunning vista awaits those who make the trek to see this particular attraction because the site has a stunning 360-degree view of the island. From this particular viewpoint, tourists can enjoy seeing Kata, Chalong Bay, Phuket Town and Karon. This particular local attraction is open to the public from 8am to 7.30pm. However, for a spectacular sunset, make sure to be at the viewpoint by at least 6.30 in the evening.

The Laem Singh Viewpoint

For a splendid view of the beach, make sure to stop at the Laem Singh viewpoint. Located between the Surin Beach and the Kamala Beach, the Laem Singh Viewpoint was built in 2009. If you wish to access the viewpoint from Kamala Beach, it will be around a ten-minute walk. However, keep in mind that since this particular location tends to be very popular amongst tourists who wish to see a stunning sunset, it can be very crowded in the evenings. The view during the day is just as splendid so whether you visit the Laem Singh viewpoint during the day or during sunset, you are likely to be greeted with a stunning and memorable vista of the coastal belt of Phuket.

The Khao Rang Viewpoint

Also known as Rang Hill, the Khao Rang viewpoint is located in Phuket Town. It is also one of the most famous viewpoints on the island. It was built in 2014 and provides its guests a lovely bird's eye view of the town. Rang Hill viewpoint can be accessed by using two separate roads leading from Mae Luan Road, and the other from Yaowarat Road.

Karon Viewpoint

For tourists residing at a luxury villa in Phuket, a beautiful view of the island and the nearby ocean can be witnessed at the Karon Viewpoint. Formerly known as the Kata Viewpoint, this particular spot is privy to a bird's eye view of a number of neighbouring beaches such as Kata Yai Beach, Kata Noi Beach and Karon Beach.
