The Big Buddha in Chalong

The giant Buddha of Chalong will probably be the first sight in Phuket you observe from up in the air. The statue located on the summit of Nakkerd Hills is 45 metres high and visible across the land. The ride to the temple takes you across what is the traditional side of Thailand and will prove to be quite the adventure, for you will be observing local customs and traditions.

Wat Chalong is Phuket's iconic temple that welcomes thousands of visitors every year.
