Have you ever tried macrame? It's SO fun! This Anthropologie inspired macrame table runner that I used in my Fall tablescape this year.
A sleek and sexy home-design staple, the bar cart we know today was actually born prim and proper as a tea trolley in the Victorian era, only evolving into something more alluring in the 1950s and ’60s before it fell out of fashion. Thanks in part to Don Draper and the Mad Men-fueled revival of mid-century style, the classic portable sip station is back with a bang and here to stay. Given some seasonal styling and special touches, it turns into a fun-sized party on wheels that’s bound to get a bachelorette bash or bridal shower rolling!
To demonstrate how you can dress up this entertaining essential for such an occasion the DIY way, we teamed up with Elyse Whall, the artful eye behind California-based photography and styling studio Plum & Oak; FiftyFlowers, one of the best sources for wholesale wedding flowers fresh from the farm; and Cricut, a company that has shaken up the crafting scene with its wildly popular and versatile electronic cutting machines, which can be used to create anything from intricate invites to simple signage out of almost any material imaginable...
This easy to make Pumpkin Spice Everything Vinyl Coffee Mug is a perfect craft project to enjoy your favorite fall drinks in.

This would look beautiful over a thanksgiving adorned kitchen table.
DecoArt Blog - Crafts - DIY Paint Sticks Bushel Basket - I am so excited that fall is finally here! This is my favorite time of year. I just love the cooler weather, cozy sweaters, pretty colors and amazing produce. Any time I think of a farmer's market or harvest time, it reminds me of all the local apple orchards where I live. I came up with the idea to make a DIY Paint Sticks Bushel Basket to decorate my house with this fall. I am thrilled how the bushel basket turned out. What do you think? You can make you very own and add your favorite fall decor inside. Pumpkins would also be perfect.
We first made these Leaf Lanterns about three years ago at German Toddler Group – one of the other carers with tons of group crafting experience showed us how to make them – making this a great Autumn Craft for Preschoolers as well as Autumn Craft for kids!!! When we first made this leaf lantern, I totally fell in love it! Especially as they were SO easy to make and even the little ones could enjoy joining in. Finally, 3 years later, we had another go. Of course, mine are a little neater, crafting with two kids is much easier than crafting with 10, but the principle applies and lends itself to a group environment!
Today is my LAST and FAVORITE Sweater Transformation! If you have been following along the past few days, you know the drill - but if you are just now tuning in I will give you a fast recap! I salvaged a cute but much-too-small sweater and decided to turn it into several projects!
A super fast way to dress up your table for a special meal with a roll of butcher paper and stencils!
