Although it may seem rather obvious, snorkelling should definitely be done by anyone and everyone who visits Maldives. If you can't swim, it is highly recommended that you either take a crash course on swimming or ask your hotel for a life jacket which you could use to help you stay afloat as you explore the wonderful world of the sea. Your Maldives luxury resort may have an in house reef located around the island, which makes snorkelling so much easier as you could snorkel any time of the day! However, if there is no house reef, you'll have to take a short boat ride to the nearest reef. While snorkelling, you'll be able to an array of colourful fish and other marine creatures. Do keep in mind not to get too close to these creatures, as some of them can get territorial and have been known to attack swimmers!
