SealTick provides package leak testing systems for testing modified atmosphere packaging. These testers are designed here in Australia and are sold to businesses around the world.
For more than 15 years, we have provided our systems that work on the principle of vacuum decay. To test a package, it is placed under a vacuum, and then isolated. Any leaks will cause a return towards atmospheric pressure.

The TSE6084 tests Cans for leaks using a vacuum-decay method, and gives go / no-go answers independent of the operator. It can find holes as small as 15 micron in diameter. It can test Cylindrical Cans made from Tin, Cardboard, or Composite materials (a combination of paper, plastic and metal). It minimizes stress to the Can and maximizes sensitivity by using a close-fitting chamber. This ensures packages are left in original condition after testing, and can be put straight back onto the production line, in-turn decreasing return-on-investment time. It requires packages with a “head-space” of air (or gas), and generally dry contents. Items are placed manually, and the Lid is slid-closed to initiate a fully automatic test sequence. Results are displayed with Pass or Fail lamps, along with a quantitative measure of the leakage rate.

Medical and Pharmaceutical Industries:
We offer the TSE6086b Flexible Package Integrity Tester which can be used to test a variety of flexible packages because no stress is placed on the package contents. Using testing to ensure the integrity of the packaging for medical supplies ensures sterility and freshness of the contents. Our customers use this product for testing pharmaceuticals, medical bandages, and even food items. The testing chamber is even designed to fit the majority of packages that are found in supermarkets.
Food Industry:
The TSE2032 Water Bath Integrity Tester operates by using a vacuum to identify the location of a leak in a package. With this tester, the hole size and its location in the package can be readily identified. This type of leak testing system is ideal for use by the food industry for testing snack food packages and sachet packaging, which is commonly used for individual servings of condiments.
Packaging Industry:
Our leak testers are especially designed for the packaging industry to help identify problems with packaging. With the endless number of new packaging products being created each year, cost-efficient leak testing systems are necessary.
The TSE6081b Flexible Package Integrity Tester is designed for testing flexible packaging including pillow pack, gusset bag and other packaging options. An advantage of this test is that it is highly-sensitive and is non-destructive to products that pass the test.

Seal Tick TSE6089L is a new product developed specially for testing seals in larger food packages. A horizontal test bed ensures very large packages such as Pet Foods, can be easily lifted into and out of position. Many products need to be checked to ensure the package is sealed against moisture, oxygen or biological contamination. It ensures the seals have been made completely, allowing the manufacturer to be confident about the shelf life and integrity of their product.
