PETRONAS Twin Towers

The iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers rises up over the cityscape and is definitely a place you should visit when in KL. While you can take some great shots of the towers from outside, make sure to head inside too; here you will find a mall, art gallery and convention centre. Go up to Level 86 where the observation deck is located offering spectacular panoramas while also worth visiting is the Skybridge in between the two towers.

Bukit Bintang

If you are looking to experience the city's vibrant nightlife, fun shopping options and live entertainment then look to stay at a hotel in Bukit Bintang. This lively locale is home to Kuala Lumpur's trendiest bars, clubs, pubs and restaurants providing an unforgettable night out on the town. Hint; if you are looking to try local dishes head to the area known as Jalan Alor which has plenty of street side food stalls.

Berjaya Times Square Theme Park

A sprawling indoor theme park which is the largest of its kind in the country, the Berjaya Times Square Theme Park offers a fun filled day for the entire family. Part of the Berjaya Times Square Hotel this huge theme park has something for everyone from kiddie rides and games to an action packed multiple-inverted roller coaster that hits speeds of up to 80 km/h.

Batu Caves

One of the most popular attractions in the country, the ancient Batu Caves can be found around 11 km from the city centre. Featuring a century old temple, Hindu shrines and stunning caves with awe-inspiring interiors and limestone formations, this sacred site offers a unique insight into the country's natural and religious heritage.

Suria KLCC

Offering plenty of retail therapy for shopaholics and fashionistas alike, the massive Suria KLCC shopping mall features a vast array of international goods and brands. Marks & Spencer, Parkson Grand and Isetan are the major department stores that can be found here. Those interested in designer clothing also have much to choose from with DKNY, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Christian Dior, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein amongst the brands available.

Sunway Lagoon

Another family favourite, the Sunway Lagoon theme park provides wild adventures for young and old alike. This sprawling theme park has more than 80 attractions to choose from and is also home to a water park with a surf beach, wave pool and plenty of thrilling tube rides. The theme park has other sections as well; enjoy animal encounters at the Wildlife Park, thrilling rides at the Amusement Park, outdoor adventures at Extreme Park and get spooked out at the Scream Park!

Aquaria KLCC

Featuring more than 150 marine species, Aquaria KLCC offers a wonderful aquarium adventure that provides a fantastic chance to see an array of creatures from the deep from sting rays to tiger sharks. The walk-through tunnel is particularly fascinating and for those who dare, there is even a (quite safe) diving with sharks programme!
