Padang Padang is a kind of 'celebrity' beach that was featured in the Hollywood movie – Eat Pray Love. The place is hidden away not too far from iconic Uluwatu Temple and is just 10 minutes from Pecatu Village. Entrance to the beach is through a mystical limestone cave, and as you emerge from there, lashings of sunshine greet you as your feet sink into the soft sand. The beach is framed by verdant sea cliffs with Pura Luhur or Uluwatu Temple perched atop one that is 250 feet high. Blue Point is located in close proximity to Uluwatu Temple and Padang Padang Beach; locally the place is called 'Suluban' which translates to walking through something.
