What is a Professional Profile?
Sometimes referred to as a professional summary, a profile is a detailed synopsis of your skills and expertise. Depending on your preference, it can be written in paragraph form or a bullet point list or any other format you like, only requiring it should be readable.

What is the difference between a Career Objective, Qualifications Summary, and Professional Profile?
This is the trillion-dollar question. The beginning of your resume is essentially the “elevator speech” through which you introduce yourself to the hiring manager.

All three styles have the same purpose—to grab the attention of the hiring manager by highlighting your qualifications that are relevant to the position. However, the method by which they deliver this information differs slightly.

A resume or a CV is supposed to profile a person's professional and individual prowess. But the general consensus is that certain experiences, seemingly negative ones, should not be included with a recommendation level of not to not-at-all. Professional profiling for say, contracts or job search is an essential task (especially when it is being carried out on an individual level for contracts) and a rather complicated one. For some, it is easier because of a simple targeted history or profile in general; for some, it is easy because of their presentation skills, but it is sure that negative points are the most difficult to process with it. And why? Well, there is always something negative that can be extracted out of any information. And hence, that what is completely or mostly negative is avoided from the profiles.

And the most common negatively impressionable aspects in an individual's profile are the Unskilled Jobs, Back Office Jobs, and Failures; academic, professional or otherwise. Let's understand each aspect first and why they are taken into this account.

Unskilled Jobs
The works that require none to little physical and/or mental skill and training. They do not have criterion except the willfulness and physical capabilities (or lack of certain or all disabilities) and a basic understanding of the undertaking.

Many individuals, as financial support, employ themselves in these jobs. And for the same fact, acting only as an economic aid, they are neglected or viewed negatively in profiles.

Back Office Jobs
Entry level jobs, again with very low to basic skill requirements. Also, being very time-dependent and quantity work oriented, they do not leave much room for an individual to learn or develop professionally.

Why should they be considered?
Well, for a start, irrespective of their nature, they are still experiences. And experiences always bring with them some or the other added advantage. Even failures are an experience, and on a very important note, all these experiences usually belong to times of difficulty, hardships, and other situations that require mental to physical strength to go through. And thus, they are experiences that can never be forgotten and neither their lessons. Traits acquired during these times make for the person at the core, one reason why!

As an applicant, one needs to understand, an evaluator is there to make a rational decision. Irrespective of the reaction to information, whether aggressive or negative or otherwise, a rational evaluation will only work (test) you to extract more information. And withholding information may eventually backfire. Meanwhile, providing voluntarily will only depict values and respect for the experience, the learning and skills acquired through it, the analysis and thought put over it, and so.
Information Theory suggests, in a philosophical interpretation, the more the information, the lesser the probabilities, and the more the possibilities.
