6 Reasons to Visit Dubai this Summer – Pack Your Bags and Get Going!

If Dubai is not on your bucket list yet, here are some convincing reasons on why it should be at the top of list – especially to visit in the summer!

1

Surprises in the Summer!

Generally, shopping in Dubai is fun and you've get to save plenty of deals and stack up on an entire wardrobe of new clothes! But when you travel to Dubai in the summer, the city organizes "Dubai Summer Surprises" which includes crazy sales, tons of entertainment and activities that will keep your entire family entertained and occupied. Don't forget to click a picture of their mascot, Modesh – it's a bright yellow and hard to miss. Malls like The Dubai Mall, Mall of Emirates and Deira City Centre located close to accommodation properties such as AVANI Deira Dubai Hotel, are some of the popular malls to head to as it combines entertainment with shopping! It is highly recommended to stay at a city hotel in Dubai. Deira is a popular city for locals and tourists alike as there are plenty of parks, malls and restaurants nearby.

2

Don't worry about the heat

If you're worried about the soaring temperatures of being in the desert during summer, well then in Dubai, you will barely feel the heat. The malls here are completely air conditioned – sometimes it gets so cold you might have to consider bringing a hoodie just in case! All public transport methods are air conditioned as well – including the walkways connecting malls and transport links.

3

Waterparks

Another clever and extremely fun way to beat the heat would be to spend the day at a waterpark – and luckily enough, Dubai has plenty to choose from! Wild Wadi Water Park and Aquaventure are guaranteed to make your holiday in the summer, a most fun and exciting experience. Get wet and wild!

4

Dubai Fountain

The Dubai Fountain is a wondrous spectacle to behold! Being the world's tallest dancing fountain in the world, the Dubai Fountain is located near the foot of Burj Khalifa; the tallest building in the world. The fountain is capable of shooting over 22,000 gallons of water in to the air during the performance which is usually to the beats of classical tunes, contemporary Arabic songs and even popular world music. Head over here in the evening, where temperatures drop down drastically compared to the day.

5

Spend time on the desert

Even though, you might run at the idea of heading to the Arabian desert during the summer – think again. Dune bashing and desert safaris are a MUST when you're holidaying in the Emirate. Camping in the desert can actually get quite chilly at night! Some tour companies will be able to organize this for you – so do your research and pick a reputable organization!

6

Beach

Like with any country, when it gets too hot, run down to the beach and play with the waves. The waters are cool and refreshing and will act as a saving grace from the hot weather. Dubai Beach such as Jumeirah Beach has a range of activities in the area, including water sports which you could partake in.
