Iconic towers seem to be a recurring feature in many major cities and Gold Coast's version of it is the Q1 Building. Standing at 1,058 feet, this gigantic skyscraper was the world's tallest residential building until The Marina Torch in Dubai stole the spotlight in 2009. It's got a total of 78 floors plus basement floors. The 77th floor is where you need to head over to if you need to catch some amazing views of the city. The SkyPoint Observation Deck as it's named offers breathtaking 360-degree views of Gold Coast's best- the gorgeous blue ocean, the evergreen Hinterland and the golden beaches that the city is named after. The SkyPoint deck also has a wide number of restaurants and bars should you want to munch on something after feasting your eyes on the beautiful views.
If you're one of those daring souls, you can try out the recently introduced SkyPoint Climb experience that allows you to harness and go beyond the glass for thrilling adventure!
