Must Visit Themeparks In Brisbane – Fun For All!

Theme parks are places of fun and excitement and the best place to head to if you're ready for a day of screaming your lungs out (not literally).

1

Whitewater world

Whitewater world is located in Coomera on 'Straya's Gold Coast. Whitewater World has been in operation since December 2006 and features ten amazing beach themed attractions, which includes The Green Room, The Rip, Temple of Huey, Wiggle Bay, Hydrocoaster, The BRO, Cave of Waves and Pipeline Plunge. In addition, three water slides had been added to the park recently, known as The Wedgie, Little Rippers and Triple Vortex. All these rides vary from slides, water cannons, tunnels, wave pools and so much more! Wiggle Bay was constructed for the smaller fans of the Whitewater World who weren't old enough to try the bigger rides, which makes this park completely family friendly! A store on site selling everything from coffee to sun cream can be found at the water park. If you're looking for a day of excitement and a great way to keep the kids entertained, head to Whitewater World. The park is open to visitors daily from 10 am to 5 pm.

Movie World

Also known as Warner Bros. Movie World, this theme park is a must visit for big movie lovers! With movie- themed attractions and rides which include everything from roller coasters, river rides and simulators, Movie World gives you the ultimate movie experience on the Gold Coast. Visitors even have the chance of meeting famous, iconic movie characters who usually roam around the park looking for their biggest fans! Take a selfie with Wonder Woman, Scooby Doo, Marilyn Monroe, Batman, Austin Powers and even the characters from Looney Tunes! If you make your way down to Minor Street, you'll be able to witness various performances of drama and song while the All Star Parade is an exciting parade of all your favourite characters in movie themed floats and vehicles! The park is open from 9:30 am to 5 pm, therefore if you're looking for a Brisbane hotel, accommodation options are easy to find, especially with properties like Oaks Charlotte Towers

Wet'n'wild water world

This large water park in the Queensland's Gold Coast has been in operation since 2009 and can be found in adjacent to the Warner Bros. Movie World. The park is open throughout the year and is complete with water slides and pools that offer a quick escape from the summer heat and the chilly winter months; as all the pools are heated during this period! Thrill seekers will love Aqua Loop, Surf Rider and Kamikaze!

Sea World

The Oceanarium also located on the Gold Coast is a home for a variety of marine mammals which also features a thrilling theme park.
