An introduction to the steps of the scientific method

How the scientific method is used to test a hypothesis.

1. Formulation of an hypothesis to explain the phenomena. In physics, the hypothesis often takes the form of a causal mechanism or a mathematical relation.

The Scientific Method is an organized way that helps scientists (or anyone!) answer a question or begin to solve a problem. There are usually six parts to it.
