For my own independence I’ve always wanted to be able to drive, however due to a busy schedule I couldn’t cope with the demanding nature of regular driving lessons. If you have ever had ad hoc lessons you’ll know what I mean when I say “it doesn’t necessarily give you road confidence”. In fact by the time you get to your next lesson after a three week gap you have pretty much forgotten what you learnt in the previous lesson. After about 4 or 5 lessons it was pretty obvious that until I sorted out my schedule and gave myself time to focus on my driving, there was no chance of me passing my driving test any time soon. It wasn’t until I had one of those days jammed pack with running errands, that I realised how much I needed a car. It was obvious that I needed to sort the situation out as soon as possible, and before long I was looking on the internet for other feasible options, until I came across intensive driving courses.
Now you’re probably thinking “If you couldn’t commit time to regular driving lessons how are you going to have time for an Intensive Course?” Well given that I still had annual leave to take from my job, I decided booking time off to do an intensive course would be really beneficial. With the institute I opted for each course came with a structured learning programme according to the DSA (Driving Standards Agency). My instructor supported me with both the practical and theory side of things, and all instructors working under the institute are licensed by the DSA.
It took me a week of five hour daily sessions to perfect my driving skills, and today I can proudly drive my own vehicle with confidence. I’ve gained so much independence that the result has been life changing. Wondering which company I learnt with? A company called Pass Now, who I cannot recommend enough! For those of you who might be thinking about Intensive Driving Courses I would suggest you check out their website – http://pass-now.co.uk/intensive-courses/ for more information. Trust me this is the best way to learn quickly and confidently.
