The well-known Buddha Park, known to the locals as Xieng Khuan, will strike the interest of the visitor with its many intriguing attractions. Here you will find more than 200 intricately fashioned sculptures and religiously themed statues with a massive 40 m tall Buddha statue in the reclining position being one of the highlights. You will see that this park features both Hindu and Buddhist elements, with an unusual blending of religious motifs. A prominent statue at this park is the king of the gods, Indra, who has been portrayed astride his elephant. Visitors will find that the statues are outstanding with regards to both their size as well as their intricate detailing.
