05 Great Places to Take the Kids When in Bangkok – Best Activities for Kids

Bangkok is a foodie's haven and shoppers paradise; but what if you're travelling with the kids? Not to worry the vibrant city has a plan. There are plenty of venues as listed below for kids to enjoy.

1

Kidzania for 3 to 12-Year-Olds

Happily joining the 'Edutainment' scene of Bangkok, Kidzania takes fun to a whole new level. Innovative thinking has gone into making this park; it is loads of fun while being educative and interactive at the same time. The place is a model city where kids can live out their dream careers or at least check out a few that fascinates them. For instance, junior doctors are needed at the hospital while a miniature fire engine is manned by the smallest fire-fighters you will ever see. Possibilities of living out fantasy roles are endless, placing Kidzania very high on the popularity scale.

2

Bounce Bangkok if you are Over 4 years

Things do not get any better than a half day at a trampoline park. Trampoline Inc. is a climbing centre and trampoline park that is open to anyone above 4 years of age; children younger must be supervised by an adult. There are a variety of trampolines to choose from with some having well-padded walls for practising those long fantasised flips and somersaults. Some have angled walls for some daredevil stunts while trampolines with a crash net are just right for practising some crazy stunts without the fear of getting hurt. Excellent for those energy packed little tykes of yours to tire them out, in case you cannot find an in-house hotel kids club at your chosen Bangkok accommodation. But do look around plenty of hotels like AVANI Hotels and Resorts do consider the ease of parents on holiday. The Trampoline Park of course is open from 10 am to 10 pm making it easy to slot in a session during any time of the day.

3

Ice Skating ages 4 and Above

Bangkok has several ice skating rinks that are just right for keeping children and adults entertained. Several are located at various points of the city with one even being of Olympic-size proportions. Instructors are available for taking lessons in case you are not all that versatile in skating and to avoid those drawn out giggles from your watching children. There are also penguin shaped stabiliser parts that will help kids keep the balance. As you can see some time at the ice skating rinks promise loads of laughter, fun and action; so take along those little tykes and let out the inner child in you.

4

Lazgam for those above 7 years

Laser Games were not found in abundance around Bangkok hence Lazgam's opening was much appreciated. The games which are about 15 minutes in duration are family-oriented fun activities. Lazgam occupies two floors and features a labyrinth of halls and rooms through which one can traverse during the game. Choose from several game types that involve red and blue teams as well as solo games.

5

Funarium for Toddlers and Youngsters up to 8 years

Funarium is an indoor playground that will be an instant hit with the youngest members of your family. Looking like a warehouse from the exterior the inside is a 2000sqmtrs of utter fun. Plenty of activity centred around a big climbing structure promises endless hours of laughter, rolling around and play.
