I currently have over 60 published books—probably close to 70 right now, but I’m too busy to count them—and an editor friend of mine asked me how on earth I found the time to write so many. An interesting question, that; one I hadn’t given much thought to. Too busy writing, don’t you know.
Charles Ray has been writing fiction since winning a national short story writing contest when he was 13. He is the author of the Al Pennyback and Ed Lazenby mystery series, the Buffalo Soldier historical/western series, and Frontier Justice: Bass Reeves, Deputy US Marshal, a popular fictionalized account of the first African-American deputy marshal west of the Mississippi River.
