It's all Robert Harris' fault - his books about Cicero's rise and fall (Imperium, Lustrum, and Dictator) got me thinking about Cicero's best friend, Titus Pomponius Atticus. He was known to be an Epicurean. Cicero was more Stoic. So I decided to compare and contrast the two. In chunks.
