HedgeFundJobList provides various lists of hedge funds and private equity managers across the US. Unlike some of the others on this list, they only provide information on funds within the US. Their focus is also towards those seeking employment in the hedge fund industry. Since a large percentage of US hedge fund jobs are in New York, job-seekers would probably be most inclined toward the list of hedge funds in New york (which is probably the most affordable offering on this list).

Hedge Fund Contacts is an online database of hedge funds across the globe. Unlike the other offerings on this list, their hedge fund database can be accessed both by download as well as online. The database contains about 3,500 hedge fund companies.
